Are the cables connected properly?
Try turning off the BNS and the printer. Turn the printer on first, then turn on the BNS
Be sure the BNS is configured for HP printing (see manual)
Be sure the serial port is on (see manual)
Be sure the BNS is fully charged
Older HP ink jet printers work best (we use the 812c and older).
