Opening Existing Files

 

Open file menu

o chord, f

Open a file with known name

o, enter name of file, e-chord

Open a file from the list

o, scroll using dot 1 or dot 4 chord,e-chord

Print or Emboss File

Open file

See instructions for opening existing files or creating files

Enter transmit command

t-chord

Select print or Braille format

a (for print)
b (for Braille)

Reset Braille N Speak

 

Reset to factory default without erasing user files

Turn off BNS
Hold down all 7 keys while turning back on.

Destructive reset (this could erase files!)

Turn off BNS
Hold down i-chord while turning on.  Follow the instructions

Warm reset (least dangerous reset)

Turn on BNS
Press 1 2 3 4 5 6 – chord twice
